You may don’t want to clean bottle to feed your baby when it’s 3 a.m. at night? Actually, nobody wants to do that. So, before sleeping the last thing maybe you are remembering that is there are clean bottles out there or not. But most importantly, you have to look after those bottles are properly clean or not as babies are very sensitive.

Why sterilization is important?
You maybe wondering that why we’re keeping so much importance on cleaning as you are doing it already. That’s why before going to the main part you should know why it’s important. Your baby’s health and hygiene is in your hand, as they still don’t know what’s good or bad for them. So, if you don’t maintain proper cleanliness then they may fell sick easily and your night sleep maybe gone.
When to Sterilize Baby Bottles?
It’s actually difficult to say exactly when you should sterilize it. But according to caregivers and doctors you should sterilize all the bottles and accessories every time they are used. And if possible just after using it or just before using it to maintain proper hygiene. However, you should do this strictly until your baby is at least 12 months old.
Cleaning Bottles By Hand
It’s always better to use your hands rather than dishwasher for cleaning baby bottles. After finishing a formula wash the feeder right away with hot and soapy water. Use bottlebrush to clean the inside area so that any dried milk cannot stay stuck. Then wash them with fresh water and allow them to air dry. Remember one thing that before cleaning them washes your hands properly with hand sanitizer.
Sanitizing Baby Bottles
If your are using a dishwasher then this step is not necessary but if you are hand cleaning the items and if your baby is less than 3 months then sanitizing is a very important step. By boiling or steaming baby bottles you can complete this step and if necessary you can also use bleaching. However, after sanitizing must clean them with unused paper towel so that dust cannot touch it.
Allow to Air-dry
It’s always better to dry the bottles in the mid of natural light and air. As you must need to keep the accessories hygienic, air-drying will help you not to build up bacteria or other germs in it. And also those items will dry out quickly which will help you to store them quickly also.
Clean Wash Basin and Bottle Brush
After cleaning, rinse the basin and bottlebrush properly each time. And must wash them in every 3 days either in dishwasher with hot water or boil it with soapy warm water. It’ll help them to stay healthy and free from all kinds of diseases.
